Artist Trading Card Community Art Project
For the last three years, The Artist Trading Card Community Art Project has brought together hundreds of artists across our community to make and share art. Community members, mostly area students, ranging in ages 2–100, created 4 unique works of art, all sized 3.5 x 2.5. We then displayed them in our community and then each participating artists "traded" their works of art with other participants. Over 12,000 cards were created over the course of the project!

A UNIVERSE OF STORIES:
COLLABORATIVE MURAL
To kick-off Scenic Regional Sullivan Library 2019 summer reading program, CAB designed a collaborative mural that young readers could contribute to by designing their own "story stars". Each star was added to the background of the mural which community members got to make using paint, markers, chalk, and other art materials. You can check out the final piece at the Sullivan library now through the end of the summer.

LIBRARY SUMMER READING COMMUNITY MURAL
CAB partnered with Scenic Regional Sullivan Library to kick-off their summer readiing program by designing a mural that was painted, high-fived, rolled and spattered with love by community members. The library will be spending the summer building a better community and world and we're so happy to have helped! Check out the video here.

4TH GRADE SERVICE PROJECT, T-SHIRT 2 TOTE BAGS
CAB partnered with 4th grade teachers from the local elementary school to brainstorm and implement a project and plan for their yearly service project. Teachers wanted their students to feel that they had a hand in something that would give back to others. CAB held in-school workshops in which students learned to transform an old t-shirt into a tote bag that the students then printed on and stuffed with donated art supplies. All bags were donated to local non-profits. CAB loved being part of such an awesome and community-enriching project!

CAB KIDS: BODY TRACINGS AND PAINT EXPLORATION
CAB partnered with a local preschool to create an end of the year project. The kids had the opportunity to trace their bodies, learn about what makes each person unique — by drawing their features with a fun game of "simon says", and used chalk and paint to breathe life into their drawings. Overall, it was a blast and the kids loved seeing each step come together to make a life-size self portrait!
